The Peak District
. Carolyn Proctor, Jose Daw, Brenda Jones and Heather and David Hayward joined the group for the first time. The group was based in Buxton and the four days of walking included climbs of Mam Tor, Kinder Scout, Howden Edge, Ramshaw Rocks and The Roaches with walks to Alport Castles, Edale, Cave Dale, Lud's Church and beside the Howden, Derwent and Ladybower Reservoirs. In all about 45 miles were covered and about 7000ft climbed in generally good walking weather.
